Join us for a high-energy musical celebration of Chrysalis Charter School's 20th birthday! The Banana Slug String Band is legendary team of environmental educators who blend music, theater, puppetry, and audience participation into an unforgettable musical experience! They are the “absolute be-all end-all for itty-bitty Northern Cali music fans," says the San Francisco Bay Guardian. “A Banana Slug String Band concert is like being around a campfire," says the Santa Cruz Sentinel. “Everyone is included." They have performed all over the world including the New Orleans Jazz Festival and the Strawberry Music Festival and won multiple National Association of Parenting Publications Awards (and many others too). Chrysalis is thrilled to bring them to Shasta County so your family can see what all the buzz is about!
